Private Player Mentorship
Develop Your Personal Skills
Enhance Your Physical Performance
Manage Your Mindset and Attitude
The world of youth competitive sports has never been as complicated and competitive as it is today, but it also has never had this much opportunity. Your goals as a youth player can range from just having fun with an enjoyable game all the way to one day representing your national team on the world’s largest stage.
Regardless, the journey of being a competitive youth athlete gives you experiences in leadership, self-discipline, teamwork and comradery, effort management, self-image, health education, and so many more valuable human experiences outside of the specific on-field skills.
Although it is true that a very small percentage of athletes end up making it onto NCAA sanctioned collegiate teams, and even fewer will make it professionally, there are more opportunities in the world of soccer in America for ambitious and passionate players than ever before. And even though you may not end up on the National Team, the journey of trying will lead you to discover so much about yourself, build important life skills, help you with formal education, and leave you with pride, confidence, and so many lifelong memories to cherish.
It is my job to help you along this journey…
Through all of my coaching and training experience as a professional sports educator, youth soccer coach, and certified personal trainer, I help players in a number of ways…
-
How should you warm up or cool down? Why? How do we prevent injuries, manage our training volume, eat and sleep, all while still being a kid?
-
You can't learn everything in lessons, you need to enjoy practicing on your own. But what should you train, how should you practice it?
-
What team should you play for, how do the leagues work? How do you find a new team? How do you get recruited for college? I use my years of experience and connections to help guide players through the confusing club market and team recruitment process.
-
Learn proper technique, master the ball, understand game principles, positions, and become a threat on the pitch. This includes private lessons and match/team practice evaluations.
-
Speed, strength, power, agility, these are learned skills. My background as a Personal Trainer will help us develop these skills.
-
Especially for more serious players the mental and social load of competitive sports can be challenging. As your mentor I am always here to talk to and provide advice so you can have fun and perform your best.
